Big City, Small Town: Nuuk, Greenland
Nuuk is without a doubt one of the most beautiful capital cities in the world, so come and see what we got up to while we discovered all Nuuk had to offer!
Nuuk is the “big” capital of Greenland with over a quarter of the country’s population . However, being Greenland this is only 16,000 people! Still, what Nuuk lacks in size it makes up for in beauty, and it’s very easy to fall in love with the capital (much like we did!)
While we were in Nuuk we got to visit the abandoned settlement of Kangeq, go on the most amazing hike we’ve ever been on, and try all the local delicacies (such as musk ox, seal and whale) while having a bbq on the beach. For us, Nuuk was a seriously special place.
And make sure you watch our full episode NUUK – Travel in Nuuk, Greenland to see what it’s really like to travel there!
