I’m putting this out there, but Croatia is one of my favourite countries in the world. Definitely in my top 5.

I’ve been to Croatia 6 times now and every time I’ve gone somewhere new. In fact, if you don’t know much about about the country then check out these photos that’ll make you want to visit Croatia.

Croatia’s a country that’s got it all though. Beautiful waterfalls? Check. Charming fishing villages? Check. Idyllic islands dotted all over the place? Check.

They’ve even got one of the best preserved ancient Roman amphitheatres in the world, and that’s before we start talking about all the Game of Thrones film locations in the country.

Also, the fact that Croatia don’t have the Euro means it’s surprisingly cheap to travel around. Food is especially cheap and the portions are huge, so this is a fantastic destination for budget travellers.
